Cultivating Precautions
  • Soil Conditioning: 150~200kg/10a of Liming (1~2 months prior to seeding)
  • Dust coat (disinfect) with 4~5g of Benlate-T, Homai per kilogram of seed
  • Use herbicides twice immediately after seeding and soil scattering (hilling)
  • Bud/Sprout Pinching
    • 1st Pinching: 5~7 foliage leaves, 2nd Pinching: Up to 10 days before flowering period
  • Crops are more likely to suffer from shattering loss if harvesting is postponed
    • Must harvest during the right period (when 1~2 pods begin to open)
  • Must seed at intervals wider than commonly used (60x15)
    • 80*90~35cm
  • Use applicable pesticides 1~2 times in August to prevent soldier bugs (shield bugs)
  • Control water supply during the flowering period in the event of a drought
    • Maximum Water Requirement for Beans: Up to 40 days after flowering (increase water supply by 20%)
