November ~ February Winter 09:00 ~ 17:00
  • Last Admission: Up to 30 minutes before closing time
  • Operational Schedule: Open 365 days per year (no holidays)
  • Pre-school children (6 years old or younger) must be accompanied by a guardian.

Admission Fees (free admission until the transition into a paid-admission regime)

  • Children: Persons/elementary school students from 7 to 12 years old
  • Adolescents: Persons/middle school and high school students from 13 to 18 years old
  • Soldiers: Soldiers (short-term, non-commissioned officers, or lower ranks), conscripted policemen, and public service workers (must be in uniform and must present appropriate ID)
  • Adults: visitors from 19 to 64 years old
  • Group: 30 or more visitors (10 or more foreign visitors) arriving together
Benefits (no double discounts available)
  • Free: Pre-school children (6 years old or younger), senior citizens (65 years old or older), people of national merit, and disabled people
  • 50% Discount: Yeongju-si citizens, employees working in Yeongju-si, Yeongju-si cyber citizens, and visitors wearing Hanbok

Visiting Precautions

Silence and order!
  • Please keep noise to a minimum, and enjoy your visit in an orderly manner.
No smoking, and no food and beverages allowed in the premises
  • You are prohibited from smoking inside and outside the Science Hall
  • You are prohibited from bringing food and beverages inside the Science Hall and the Experience Hall.
Pets
  • Pets are prohibited from the premises!
  • You cannot bring your pet into the Science Museum.
Mobile Phone Usage
  • Please switch your mobile phone off, or set it to vibrate inside all video halls.
Liability Regulation
  • You will be liable for any damages you cause on the Museum exhibits or facilities.
Safety Precautions
  • Follow safety precautions at all times when visiting the Science Museum. In particular, please adhere to all instructions from the supervisor when participating in exhibition experience programs or practical experience programs.
